Alone

Alone (2008-) is an ongoing meditation on the aesthetics of solitude in the public space. It is predicated on an assortment of characters that unwittingly enact being alone in public. The series results in a visual assemblage of individuals captured in cafes, restaurants, trains, or "just" on the streets. These photographs do not always purport to match anyone's inner reality but the viewer's.
