Lost children’s toys and their autobiographies

Children’s toys have yielded stories of fascination and horror. The effects toys provoke on children and adults are overly centred on an anthropocentric perspective that makes them as disposable and forgettable as any commodity. To tell the toys' own stories, I invoke reflections on accelerated capitalism, the prefiguring of forgotten pasts and lost futures.
